Chief Storyteller, City of Detroit, MI
Aaron Foley is the chief storyteller for the City of Detroit. In this newly created role, Foley oversees digital content for TheNeighborhoods.org, a neighborhood news site powered by the City of Detroit Government, and executive produces television content for one of the city’s cable channels. Both outlets deliver news and features about Detroiters with the purpose of elevating the stories behind small businesses, everyday residents and unsung neighborhoods. Prior to joining the City, Foley worked as a journalist for several local outlets. He has published two books about Detroit.
