Deanna Lambert has over a decade of television news and transportation experience. She worked as a reporter, anchor and producer in North Carolina, Louisiana, Florida and Tennessee. During those years, she covered major national stories like the devastation of Hurricane Katrina along the Gulf Coast and the 2010 floods in Nashville. Lambert was named ‘Best TV reporter of 2010’ by the Tennessee Associated Press. She also won a Mid-south Regional Emmy for Continuing Coverage of a deadly 50-car pileup.
In 2011, Deanna traded one microphone for another when she moved into the spokesperson role for the Middle Tennessee region of the Tennessee Department of Transportation. During the past four years at TDOT, she has helped expand the visual impact of the Communications Department by moving into a new role of producing videos. Deanna shoots, writes, and edits videos with a main focus on telling unique, impactful stories about TDOT.
