Mark Manning

Mark ManningMark has over 25 years of experience in state and local government, currently serving as the Budget and Research Office of the City of Wichita for the last 10 years. Wichita is the largest city in Kansas, and has a $575 million operating budget and $1.8 billion Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget. Throughout his career Mark has served in a variety of posts, including Fiscal Officer for the Kansas Highway Patrol, interim Risk Manager for the City of Wichita, and interim Housing and Community Services Director for the Wichita Housing Authority.

Mark graduated cum laude from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in both Finance and Accounting. He earned a Masters in Business Administration from Drake University. He is a member of the Wichita Employees Retirement Board and the Board for the Wichita Federal Credit Union, where is a two time past Chairman. Mark also serves on the Wichita Employees Retirement System’s Joint Investment Committee and is a trustee for Leadership Wichita.
